La autoevaluación dentro del proceso de acreditación del Programa de Enfermería de la Universidad de La Sabana

Self evaluation and self regulation determines the functioning and achievements of the program, which revert in the capacity for feedback and obtain excellence, to demonstrate that the program for accreditation has quality, verified by external pairs to the institution or program.
The Nursing Program of La Sabana University, since its beginning, has done self-evaluations to improve its process and give feedback to its action in the education of students and professors. Keeping in mind law, the process of accreditation was inscribed, following the rules given by the Direction of Accreditation and Curriculum, with self evaluation of the program of ten factors proposed by the CNA; analyzed each one of the 66 characteristics and 200 variables, and giving judgements based on documents of analysis and support and in opinions, questionnaires to students, professors, directors and graduates, about the academic and administrative reality, to determine the strengths and failures and propose plans to improve the program.
