Abstract

Research, from the point of view of nursing, is an identification of questions, doubts about knowledge, originated from the practice and problems presented in the reality. For that, the nurse has tools, such as observation, reflection, evaluation of facts as they happen in the reality, used in the evaluation of the patient, to give care of quality.

The research must be interdisciplinary, which allows relations and actions between different areas of knowledge, with respect to autonomy and looking for the persons life quality.
