Abstract

The following ponderings present an approach for the development of nursing and its practice, that currently have incorporated important theoretical, conceptual and ethical contributions.

Also, it mentions the contribution of important theorizers of this discipline in the definition of paradigms, models and theories, oriented to describe and explain the phenomenon of practice from an ethical, personal, environmental, health care and the act of caring, perspective.
